Pannett House

Pannett House is a bed and breakfast establishment located on the West Cliff of Whitby. It is just a stones throw away from the seafront and minutes from the town and harbour. The house was built as a private residence, around 1860, for a well-known local dignitary, Robert Elliot Pannett. The house retains many of its original features and has probably the last surviving Victorian bathrooms in the town. The 1 en suite family room and 3 en suite double rooms (1 with 4-poster bed another with antique brass bed) are spacious and tastefully decorated. All rooms have remote control colour TV, clock radio, hair dryer, toiletries and generous hospitality tray. Pannett House is renowned for its traditional full English breakfasts, with vegetarian and continental menus readily available.
