The Captain's Lodge
A friendly family-run, newly-refurbished, Victorian guesthouse with beautiful sea views offering comfortable accommodation in a relaxing atmosphere. The Captain's Lodge is situated on the West Cliff conservation area of Whitby just a short walk from the beach, harbour, town and all Whitby's attractions. There is unrestricted, free on-street parking. Take your breakfast in our attractive dining room with separate tables where you can enjoy a leisurely home-cooked meal to start the day. We offer an extensive breakfast menu, including vegetarian, for you to choose from. Local produce is used wherever possible. Afterwards, you can relax in the beautiful sitting-room which has books, colour TV, video and a lovely fire for cold days. All of our tastefully-decorated bedrooms are centrally heated with en suite bathrooms, shaver points, remote-controlled colour TV, clock/radio alarm and a complementary refreshment tray. All rooms are of a good size, some with sea views.
