The Florence Guest House
The Florence Guest house is a beautiful Victorian Terrace house built in 1870, the rooms to the front of the property, including the breakfast room, overlook Pannett Park home of Whitby's Museum and Art Gallery. The rooms to the rear overlook Whitby's last spa, which belongs to the people of Whitby and is situated in our charming back yard. We have endeavoured to cater for your every need in our 6 rooms, 5 of which are en-suite and 1 having private facilities. All rooms are clean comfortable and elegant have central heating, hospitality trays, colour TV's and alarm clocks. Ironing facilities and hairdryers are available on request. Two of pour rooms are situated on the ground floor so are particularly suited to guests with impaired mobility. We are only 4 minutes walk from the train and bus stations as well as the harbour and town centre, being so central there are no big hills to climb. We have also managed to secure private good quality parking from Friday at 18:00hrs to Sunday 20:00hrs for a small charge. Free on road parking is to be found near by. We are a non-smoking establishment. Dogs are welcome by arrangement. Vegetarian diet is catered for and we will try and cater for other specialist diets if given notice and information. The Florence is the perfect base from which to enjoy all that the historic town of Whitby has to offer, come and let us make your stay truly memorable, it is what we do best!
