The Haven Guest House
The Haven (Whitby) Ltd is a bed and breakfast establishment located in Whitby. It is a Victorian terraced property, built around 1850, situated in East Crescent, on the West Cliff of the River Esk, with views over the harbour mouth, St Mary's Church and St Hilda's Abbey. Your hosts, Chris and Stevie Connell, purchased the property in June 2002, and their ambition is one of constant improvement. The Haven has 8 bedrooms, all of which are now en suite. They will provide you with a comfortable bed, friendly atmosphere and a delicious full English breakfast, served in their dining room between 0830-0900. Colour TV and hostess trays are provided in each room, along with hairdryers and alarm clock. An iron and ironing board is available upon request. The Haven now has two four poster beds in rooms 2 & 3, and every room has a teddy bear who likes to be cuddled.
