Whitehaven Guest House is a small family run, non smoking Edwardian guest house. Ideally situated on Whitby's west cliff, only a short walk from promenade, beach, harbour and shops. The resident proprietors, Simon and Lane pride themselves on the warm and friendly welcome, they afford there guests, with hospitality second to none. All bedrooms in this 4 Diamond rated AA establishment are tastefully decorated with majority having en-suite facilities. All rooms are fully equipped with colour television, DVD player, courtesy trays, hair dryer, radio/alarm clocks, mini fridge, and all are centrally heated. All rooms boast excellent views, ranging from sea, Abbey to surrounding countryside. Extensive breakfast menu, with all food cooked to order and served in the elegant dining room. Vegetarian and special diets catered for. Relax and unwind in the garden and watch the world go by. Ample parking is readily available either free on street or in the pay and display car park adjacent to the guest house. Free overnight 6pm-9am, free all day during winter months Nov-Feb. For those guests that are energetic or simply want to unwind, the guest house is within a 2 minute walk from the indoor swimming pool and newly built sports complex, boasting sports hall with badminton courts and fully equipped fitness suite.
