Avoncroft Cottage is superbly located in the village of High Hawsker, Whitby, on the Yorkshire Coast. The North Sea Coast is just a ten minute walk away and the cottage provides the ideal base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors as well as the pretty towns of Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. This wonderful area has much to offer-from fossil hunting on the dinosaur coast, learning about wartime Britain at Eden Camp to the Moor to Sea Cycle Way for the more energetic! Cycle hire is available just down the road. The peaceful, rural location is ideal for the keen walker, and there are many inland and coastal circular walks that start and end at the cottage. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped with your comfort in mind. The comfortable living area has TV with Freeview, a DVD player with a selection of family DVDs, comfortable sofas and a stereo with CD and radio. The dining area has table and chairs for six people and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and all the cutlery and crockery you will need. A washing machine can be found in the downstairs utility room. Bedroom 3 contains 2 single beds 1 x bedside cabinet, extra storage available on the landing. All bedrooms have Anti-allergy pillows and duvets, Spare blankets.
