The bustling fishing port of Whitby is around one mile away, famous for delicious fish and chips, beach and the 199 steps leading up to the Abbey. The North York Moors Steam Railway, which can be accessed from Whitby, is definitely worthy of a visit, weaving its way through the beautiful 'Heartbeat' country down to the picturesque town of Pickering. The location ensures something for everyone and is a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding area. Arrival from 3pm, depart by 3pm.
